Announcements NEW BEHAVIOR GUIDELINES Beginning the second quarter, Parkway is going to start using a new set of behavior guidelines. Please review the new behavior expectations and examples below. We are striving to teach our children social and behavior skills that are necessary both in school and in the community.
PARKWAY ELEMENTARY SCHOOL WIDE BEHAVIOR EXPECTATIONS
Our behavior card system will remain in place and a card will be flipped each time one of the above rules is broken. The consequences will remain the same.Be Respectful to Others (Being kind to others, no negative comments/gestures, using active listening skills) Remain in Assigned Seat/Area (Staying in seat/area during instruction, staying in line, no wandering away from the group) Raise Hand to Speak or Ask Questions (No yelling out, raise hand to get out of seat, waiting for turn) Work Quietly (No talking or inappropriate noise making during independent work time) Use Materials Appropriately (Use pencils, scissors and other supplies for intended purposes, don't destroy school property) Obey Adults (Follow directions and guidelines set forth by adults in the building) Discussion Topics Files No "Files" exist(s) |
